TOKYO TOWER
Located in the middle of Tokyo City block, Tokyo Tower is 333m / 1093 feet tall, which is 13 meters taller than its model, the Eiffel Tower in France. Weighing about 4000 tons, it is the world's highest self-supporting iron/steel tower & the tallest structure in Tokyo.
Completed in the year 1958, Tokyo Tower is the symbol for Japan's rebirth as a major economic power, and serves as a tv & radio broadcasting antenna as well as tourist attraction.

The tower is painted in white and orange according to air safety regulation.

From dusk to 11 p.m., the tower is brilliantly illuminated in orange.
Heard from the "Pak Guard" there that the lighting will be occasionally changed for special events.
